PRAYER WALL – TAKE THE HELMET OF SALVATION
“And take the helmet of salvation …” Ephesians 6:17
I take the helmet of salvation, which is my defensive armor to protect my mind and I bind every attack against it in Jesus name!
With my “helmet of salvation,” I cover my entire mind with the power of the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 12:24).
I seize and take hold of my mind by taking full authority over it! I break every antagonistic spirit that wars against me in Jesus name.
Father God, Your Word reveals, “But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation” … 1 Thessalonians 5:8
I am alert in the Spirit; I put on the breastplate of faith and love for a helmet, the hope of salvation and destroy the works of evil!
Faith and love shall continually cover my heart and indwell within it so that I may maintain wearing— the helmet of salvation.
I have salvation, because I have faith and love! I cast away every demonic assignment that opposes my salvation in Jesus name!
The helmet, the hope of salvation causes me to have expectancy of our complete, full and final redemption from the resurrection of Christ, to the catching away of the saints and to His second coming!
I have on the helmet of the hope of salvation—
The HOPE of the Savior!
Father God, we know that salvation is NOW for those that accept you as their Lord and Savior! Thus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we war against all evil assignments that war against our righteousness!
We thank You Lord for bringing forth Your redemptive plan for the atonement of our sins from the Old Testament to the New and to the consummation of all things.
We maintain our hope by keeping our minds focused on You by having on the helmet of salvation! We cast away all distractions! With the helmet of salvation, my mind possesses Godly thoughts and understanding of Your eternal plan for me!
I look to the future glorification of all things and I keep my hope in You until the end of all things!
Lord God, You delivered my soul from eternal damnation and You rescued me from the plan of the adversary.
You are my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer
(2 Samuel 22:2 AMPC).
You are my Shield and the Horn of my salvation … my Stronghold and my Refuge, my Savior – You saved me from violence (2 Samuel 22:3 AMPC).
Dear Lord You are the strength of my salvation and You protect me spiritually and physically. For this reason, I will keep on the helmet of salvation, for I have the mind of Christ.
With the helmet of salvation on, I declare and decree Your Word!
“The Lord is my Light and my salvation (Psalm 27:1).
Dear Lord in Your Word, we know that Simeon said, “…For mine eyes have seen thy salvation …” Luke 2:30. His eyes saw Jesus!
We praise the power of salvation—Yeshua, JESUS, the Son of God!
JESUS, You are Jehovah our Salvation—our Savior!
You are the “Hope and Helmet of our Salvation!”
For this reason, we have the mind of Christ!
Lord, Your Word says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Philippians 2:5.
I have hope and my mind is renewed in God’s Word to maintain my hope in Christ when trials and tribulations war against me.
My helmet of salvation spiritually covers my mind with the Light of Christ and guards it from the attacks of Satan!
I am transformed by the renewing of my mind (Romans 12:2).
The helmet of salvation is the Light of Christ upon my mind!
My hope says Christ is coming and my victory is through Him!
I am saved by hope (Romans 8:24).
I have hope, because I know that one day we shall live with Jesus!
I am comforted, encouraged or edified with these words!
I am also encouraged through my trials, because Christ shall come and take back His church to reign with Him.
This is my hope and I keep it alive by wearing the helmet or hope of salvation.
Therefore, my expectancy is toward Christ’s coming.
My hope looks to the future and it rests on my faith!
Hebrews 11:1 reveals, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
My faith keeps my HOPE alive!
- “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” Romans 15:13.
I abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost!
My hope is superabundant and beyond measure!
Therefore, I expect superabundance and blessings beyond measure!
- “…the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher ought to thresh in expectation of partaking of the harvest” … 1 Corinthians 9:10 AMPC.
I labor or plow in the gospel with hope that a harvest of souls shall come forth and that I shall receive my eternal rewards that have been promised to me.
Thus, I am a partaker of the hope of eternal promises through salvation and through the coming of Christ.
My hope shall not be in vain!
Dear Lord, “Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope” (Psalm 119:116).
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness (Proverbs 10:28).
“…the righteous hath hope in his death” Proverbs 14:32.
Death does not conquer the hope of the righteous!
Physical death from this world signifies spiritual life – eternally with Jesus Christ!
Thus, my hope is in an eternal sphere with Jesus Christ!
“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death” Philippians 1:20.
My expectation of hope seals me eternally whether it be by life or death, because my life in found in Christ!
Christ is our hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
I am shielded by the hope of glory through the helmet – the hope of salvation!
I hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end (Hebrews 3:6).
Thus, I am anchored in hope with stability and security through Jesus Christ.
My hope is fixed in Christ!
Hope is the anchor of my soul, because I shall remain and stand in the storms of life!
My hope shall soar or go before me!
“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:11-12.
I have full assurance of hope with absolute trust and confidence in God and His power.
Thus, I have faith and patience to endure even through trials and tribulations in order to inherit the promises.
I lay hold upon the hope set before us (Hebrews 6:18).
My helmet of hope or salvation keeps hope alive in me, because I look forward to that blessed hope, and the appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13).
My helmet of salvation guards my mind when it comes under attack.
When Satan targets my mind for me to lose hope, I am stable and secure when his attacks come, because I have on the helmet of salvation.
I cast away the schemes of Satan that war against my mind in Jesus name. I cast away discouragement, *battle fatigue, money pressures, depression, oppression, doubt, fear, confusion, hopelessness, emotional conflicts, temptation, hostility, rebellion, procrastination, complacency, idleness/preoccupation, restlessness, slothfulness, deceit, condemnation, feelings of being alone, etc.
* I will not feel like I have been fighting without ‘furlough or a rest period’ from the front line, which wars against my hope. I have mental and spiritual preparation to war against my adversary!
Therefore, I refuse to get discouraged through battles, trials and tribulations in Jesus name! I will keep my helmet of salvation on in the midst of spiritual battles in order to combat Satan’s mind warfare schemes in Jesus name.
I take a hold of my mind and keep on my helmet so that I can shield myself from all attacks! My mind is shielded with God’s Word!
I shall also keep my mind renewed in Christ through the Word!
I will not give up! “… And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” Galatians 6:9.
For this reason, I shall reap the benefits, because I shall stand and not quit!
I take the helmet of salvation and resist the onslaught attacks of our adversary, Satan in Jesus name!
I shall continue to stand in the midst of persecution even when the battle grows more fiery and intense.
I clothe my mind with the helmet of salvation in order to resist any attack in the realm of my flesh nature or mind in Jesus name.
I shall walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). God’s Word is my POWER source!
With God’s Word, I war against the adversary that wars against my mind. I am militant against him in the realm of the Spirit through prayer warfare and the WORD in Jesus name!
My mind is afresh in God through prayer and His Word.
I will not give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27).
I also refuse to yield to Satan’s devices or wiles in Jesus name!
The helmet of salvation is the hope of salvation that protects my mind from wavering and instability.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:2, it says, “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
My mind is comforted through hope or by having on the helmet of salvation. I declare continually that my mind is renewed in Christ!
God’s Word reveals, “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind” Ephesians 4:23.
I have put on the new nature created in God’s image in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24 AMPC).
Thus, my mind thinks on the things of God and His Word.
I think on what is true, honest, just, pure, and lovely and of a good report (Philippians 4:8).
My mind thinks on heavenly things in Jesus name!
I set my affection on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:2).
My mind is girded and possesses readiness.
In 1 Peter 1:13 says, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”
I gird up the loins of my mind; it carries with it the attribute of understanding.
The helmet of salvation spiritually shields my mind with understanding.
“…give me understanding, and I shall live” Psalm 119:144.
My mind is shielded with understanding and brings life unto me.
In a natural war, if you did not have your helmet on, it could cost you your life.
Therefore, I put on my spiritual helmet of salvation to defeat the adversary through his attack against my mind in Jesus name.
Dear Lord, Your Word says, “Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it …” Proverbs 16:22.
I shield my mind with understanding, which is a fountain or issue of life in Jesus name!
- Father God, I declare and decree Your Word, “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established” Proverbs 24:3.
I also shield my mind with understanding so as to establish my life by setting up a firm foundation in Jesus name!
I refuse to walk in a lack of understanding and error!
Your Word is before me dear Lord! Ephesians 4:18 says, “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:”
I have the understanding of God and His Word; therefore, I have on the helmet of salvation.
I cast away all spiritual darkness and blindness of the heart and mind in Jesus name. My mind is shielded with the Word of God!
I walk in the Light of Christ and my mind is enlightened through His Word.
I shield my mind from the attacks of Satan by ‘casting down imaginations’ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
The adversary cannot penetrate my helmet of salvation, because God has ruler-ship and dominance in my life.
My mind is cleansed from all vain thoughts and imaginations! Thus, the glory of the helmet of salvation is upon my head in Jesus name!
My helmet of salvation causes me to endure oppositions, because my hope is in the coming Christ and His final redemptive plan for us.
The hope of the helmet of salvation gives me confidence and assurance through my trials, because I know that I have victory at the final end of the matter.
God’s Word declares, “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:3-5.
We as soldiers for God have proven over an extensive period of time to be true to God even through all of our trials and tribulations.
We are warriors of worship, praise and prayer!
We will not be ashamed of our hope, because God is faithful to His promises to reward our “hope and faith” in Him.
Our experience in trials and tribulations work hope, because we have decided to remain righteous before God!
We declare and decree a “track record” of faithfulness before God in trying times in Jesus name. Thus, we persevere after every trial!
This is how our experience works hope, because throughout our experience of trials, we have come forth as gold (Job 23:10). AMEN!
