A prayer request by one of our Global Prayer Warriors of Army of the Lord:
Dear Lord, we first of all stand on Your Word, regarding my destiny mate. We declare and decree that the mate of my destiny will be equally yoked with me in holiness and righteousness. I pray that we will be likeminded in Christ and that there are no mismatched alliances with us in Jesus name.
Your Word says, “Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 AMP
Therefore, dear Lord, send forth my “destiny mate” who will be consistent with my faith in the name of Jesus.
I declare and decree that my mate who is sent by You will walk in the Light of Christ with me and will not walk contrary to Him.
I pray that my mate that is destined for me will support me in my God given life’s pursuits and that I will support the calling of my mate in Jesus name.
I also ask You, dear Lord, to send forth the mate that You predestined for me from the foundations of this world and let no counterfeit come forth in Jesus name.
I declare and decree that my true destiny mate is a righteous believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and will not partner with unrighteousness.
Lord God, remove from me the person that would come with lawlessness, wickedness, hidden agendas, deception, false disguises, lies, perversion, pagan beliefs and/or with an Antichrist spirit in Jesus name.
In addition, remove from me those who would come as a freeloader or as a user in order to gain personal support in Jesus name.
Expose those that come to destroy my purpose in life or to hinder it in Jesus name. Lord, let no supposed mate come to me that would become an agent of distraction in the name of Jesus.
Detour from me those that come with too much baggage such as with grave troubles in Jesus name.
Cast from me those that come with generational curses, transferring of spirits or witchcraft assignments in Jesus name.
Let not a violent, arrogant or narcissist person come my way with the notion of being my mate in Jesus name.
Open my eyes that I may discern the truth of anyone that may feel they are my mate.
Let no counterfeit come my way so that I will not contend with conflicts in Jesus name.
Father God, Your Word proclaims, “Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed? — Amos 3:3 AMP.
Therefore, You have revealed to us that two cannot walk together nor have a union with each other unless they become one in agreement.
Your Word further says, “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble” Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10 (NLT) New Living Translation.
Dear Lord, when you send my destiny mate, I pray that our true union shall further our success in Jesus name.
Your Word tells us that when there are two; if one falls, the other will reach out and help. Thus, we shall be a “force of unity” for each other!
Through that union, dear Lord, You have already destined us to prosper and to have wealth in our house in Jesus name.
I also pray that You will give me and my destiny mate innovative ideas that shall prosper us even further in Jesus name.
Dear Lord, Your Word says, “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]” 3 John 2 AMP.
Therefore, 3 John 2 is a “DECREE” that we shall prosper and be in good health just as our soul prospers.
Father God, we know that Your Word is true, because Your desire is for us to prosper in multiple ways for Your glory, purpose and plan.
You prospered Your servant, Ruth by sending her Boaz, a very wealthy man who was her destiny mate and became her husband of destiny.
Thus, Father God, we look at the story of destiny with Naomi and Ruth and how it ties in to a wealthy man Boaz—a relative of Naomi who lived in Bethlehem.
Ruth being Naomi’s daughter-in-law was one of the keys to her finding Boaz since he was a relative of Naomi.
When Naomi’s husband and two sons died, she was very sad. She was led by You dear Lord to return to Bethlehem where her kinsman, Boaz lived.
Lord God, through this understanding, You set up a prophetic plan so that Ruth would find the mate of her destiny in Bethlehem.
Then, when Ruth discovered that Naomi was going to live in Bethlehem, she exemplified great loyalty by proclaiming these famous words of love, “For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God,” (Ruth 1:16-17).
These words went down in history as Ruth exemplified or pointed prophetically to the love of her kinsmen as well as the Christ kind of love.
Thus, in the process of time, both Naomi and Ruth moved to Bethlehem and little did Ruth know that she was about to meet her destiny mate—her husband of destiny.
At this point, they needed food in Bethlehem and Ruth went looking for it and found herself picking grain in the field of a wealthy man, named Boaz who was Naomi’s relative. Spiritually, we also have a “field of destiny!”
Therefore, Lord, You gave them a need for food so as to bring Ruth into a “field of wealth” that belonged to Boaz.
After seeing her, he found out about her life and demonstrated great kindness to her. He specially arranged for Ruth to gather grain in his field.
From that point on, Boaz saw Ruth as being his destiny mate and ultimately married her (Ruth 4: 1-13 KJV).
The marriage of Boaz and Ruth brought great joy to Naomi since she had lost her husband and two sons and could not complete the linage. Therefore, by Ruth marrying Boaz, they were able to continue the linage by having a son, Obed (Ruth 4:17) for God’s purpose and plan.
Father God, we know that when You set up a plan between two mates, You have a greater plan for their lives.
Dear Lord, guide my footsteps and those of my destiny mate so that we might cross paths like unto Ruth and Boaz. Bring me into the field of wealth that You have ordained for me in Jesus name, which could mean different things in Your eyes.
In retrospect, Naomi, prayed a powerful prayer for those seeking mercy, rest and peace in a new home with good husbands.
Lord God, like unto the prayer of Naomi, we pray we might find rest and peace in houses that You have given to us with good husbands, according to (Ruth 1:9-11 AMP).
Abraham found his destiny mate, who was Sarah. He became the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4) and Sarah became the mother of nations (Genesis 17:16) for God’s purpose and plan.
This was a dual plan that You placed upon two people that brought one of the greatest testimonies in bible history. Sarah and Abraham had a child in their old age and brought forth a powerful seed, Isaac (Genesis 17:17-19; 21:5). This plan, alone, played a pivotal role in the destiny of God’s people.
Therefore, Father God, You put mates together to reinforce each other so that they might carry out Your divine plan in the earth with greater strength.
In addition, Dear Lord, in sending my destiny mate, let neither of us exalt ourselves above the other, because it is through Your anointing that we can accomplish anything.
Correspondingly, if one of us has a particular calling or we both have the same calling, bless us to carry out those callings with a unified concern and support.
Your Word says, “Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman” 1 Corinthians 11:11 NIV.
Dear Lord, send forth my destiny mate so that we will not be independent of each other by doing things to oppose each other through prejudices, discrimination and/ or influences.
Considering these things dear Lord, bring forth the destiny mate who You have chosen for me and cause both of us to encourage and motivate each other toward our callings with seriousness of heart.
Cause us to stand together in heart and spirit without competition, jealousy, strife or division.
Dear Lord, if our callings are different allow them to compliment the goals of each other in order to empower what we are called out to do.
If our callings are the same, then, give us double empowerment so that we might impact the lives of others wherever we might go.
In addition, bring forth your spiritual gifts upon us so that we might carry out Your work with great discernment and sensitivity of the Holy Spirit.
Concerning Ruth and Boaz, dear Lord, You caused her to relocate to Bethlehem in order to cross paths with her destiny mate.
Once she got there, You sent Ruth into Boaz’s field so that he could see her.
Then, You moved upon his heart and revealed to him that she was his destiny mate.
Dear Lord God, cause us to be in the place of destiny at the right place at the right time to find our destiny mate for Your kingdom purpose and plan.
I pray, “Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word; Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You]” Psalm 119:133 AMP.
Dear Lord, many times we do not know that You are ordering our footsteps toward our destiny mate, because things may appear to be awkward.
Nevertheless, we ask You, Lord Jesus to put our lives in order so that You might prepare us for Your plan. Then, we ask You to orchestrate the timing that we are to cross paths with our destiny mate.
Cause us to be sensitive to Your voice so that we will not move ahead of You, which could disrupt Your plan for us.
Father God, quicken Your people not to be over-anxious in finding a mate, but create patience in them so that You can order their footsteps within Your time-table for them.
Your Word says, “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” James 1:4.
Thus, we bind up an “over-anxious spirit” in finding a mate, but will allow You, Father God, to orchestrate Your perfect plan for us in Jesus name.
Lord, as a Christian, we do not want just a mate; we want a destiny mate so that You can fulfill Your kingdom purpose and plan in both of us.
SHATTERING THE ATTACKS THAT CREATE UNSUITABLE MATES:
We demolish a cycle of mistakes in selecting the wrong mate in Jesus name.
We demolish the demonic spirit behind sending counterfeit mates into our lives in the name of Jesus.
We demolish unequal alliances that are sent to create confusion in order to throw our lives out of the will of God.
We bind in Jesus name the demonic spirit behind supposed mates who would have the tendency to betray each other.
Father God in Jesus name, if children are involved, we ask You to reveal to us if a supposed mate would be a danger or threat to them.
Do not allow us to cross path with a supposed mate that will perpetrate violence or that has a controlling or narcissist spirit.
Remove from our pathway a supposed mate that is untrustworthy and that has a lying or deceiving spirit or who uses words to captivate one into their web of deception.
Cast far from us dear Lord a supposed mate that would set up entrapments against us in Jesus name. This includes a supposed mate that would bring us into a wrong company of people that are toxic.
Dear Lord, our prayer is that You will place our feet on the right path so as to assure us that we will only cross the path of the destiny mate that You have chosen for us. Make it impossible for us to select the wrong person by rerouting our footsteps when necessary in Jesus name.
Father God, we do not pray this prayer upon those that hold no interest in having a mate, but desire to finish their course upon this earth by staying single.
PRAYERS FOR THOSE THAT DESIRE TO STAY SINGLE AND FINISH THEIR CALLINGS UNDER A GREAT EMPOWERMENT OF GOD'S ANOINTING:
In saying this, Father God, we ask you to bless the people that desire to stay single and to complete their callings upon this earth with the empowerment of Your anointing.
Matthew 19:11-12, Jesus reveals that there are some individuals that chose to remain single for the purpose of God’s kingdom.
Dear Lord, Paul stayed single and finished his calling without distractions so that he could focus. We know what Paul did is not for every person, but his example is for those that desire to remain single for God’s kingdom plan and purpose.
Paul said, “I wish that all the people were as I am; but each person has his own gift from God, one of this kind and one of that. 8 But I say to the unmarried and to the widows, [that as a practical matter] it is good if they remain [single and entirely devoted to the Lord] as I am” 1 Corinthians 7:7-8 AMP.
FREE FROM CONCERN REGARDING GETTING MARRIED:
“But I want you to be free from concern. The unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; 33 but the married man is concerned about worldly things, how he may please his wife, 34 and his interests are divided. The unmarried woman or the virgin is concerned about the matters of the Lord, how to be holy and set apart both in body and in spirit; but a married woman is concerned about worldly things, how she may please her husband” 1 Corinthians 7:32-34 AMP.
Thus, dear Lord, those that desire to remain single, guide our feet on the road of destiny that entails completing our divine works in the earth.
Cause us to finish our course with great empowerment under Your anointing and guidance in Jesus name.
Paul proclaimed again, “But in my opinion a widow is happier if she stays as she is. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God [in this matter]” 1 Corinthians 7:40 AMP.
Father God, our prayer is that whatever You have predestined for each person; only allow that to come to pass so that we will be in Your perfect will in Jesus name. AMEN!
