PRAYERS OF INTERCESSION FOR WORLD MISSIONS
Father God, we pray for an organized system of mission work to be developed across churches, globally so that the works of Christ will be strengthened. We pray for a special anointing to be released for this to occur in the name of Jesus!
Christ came in the earth to die for our sins so that we would have eternal life. He also gathered together disciples so that they could go forth to do His works in a unified fashion. However, there was a Judas in the midst of the true disciples. For this reason, we pray for the mission work of Christ to go forth despite all setbacks, attacks, demonic assignments, betrayals and antagonistic spirits.
We pray that the body of Christ will focus on the purpose of the works of Christ, because there will always be a Judas spirit or some demonic assignment trying to stop you.
Thus, we break every Judas assignment, plots, all hidden agendas and demonic conspiracies against the missions of Christ. We pray that God will expose the Judas spirits that come forth in our midst. We also bind up in the name of Jesus every demonic assignment that causes splits or divisions through well planned out lies and evil plots.
Father God, we pray that Your ministers, missionaries and leaders will be likeminded in You so that Your work can be fulfilled in the earth. Christ’s ‘true’ disciples were of one mind and one spirit with a single focus and that was to preach the gospel, heal and deliver the sick and to win souls to Christ. We pray that God’s elect will be of one mind toward finishing the works of Christ with a great urgency!
Christ’s High Priestly Prayer for Unity in the Spirit:
Christ prayed this prayer of unity … “That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me” John 17:21 AMPC.
We pray that we are all likeminded in Christ and that the prayer of unity that He prayed will increasingly be fulfilled in our midst.
We also pray that missionaries, ministers or leaders will unify in the Spirit, which empowers them to complete the works of Christ.
Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them” Matthew 18:20 AMP.
Father God, we pray that through the empowerment of unity, the church will accomplish great ministry works on the earth.
We declare and decree, “Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” Matthew 18:19 AMP.
I declare and decree that I am likeminded in Christ.
I declare and decree that I am empowered through my union in Christ.
I declare and decree that our unity in Christ will manifests great miracles and healings in our midst.
I declare and decree that our like-mindedness in the Spirit will cause us to help or minister to the personal needs of the people.
HAITIAN MISSION
I declare and decree that we are mission minded to carry out great missions in the earth.
Thus, in these last days, we pray for the true ministry and mission work of Christ to come forth or to arise!
We pray for all missionaries, ministers and/or evangelists that are on the field and that they will not faint or lose heart, but shall finish their course upon this earth.
Regarding incomplete mission work, we pray that missionaries or ministers will complete it at the appointed time as God directs them.
Father God, through Your empowerment, we cover the ministry and mission work of Christ in strong and intensified prayer!
- For this reason, Father God, we pray Psalm 91 upon the missionaries that are on the field for their protection (safety), fruitfulness and for their success in all of their mission work.
We pray for Your great commission in Matthew 28:19 AMP to be totally fulfilled, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
We declare and decree God’s Word, “…Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” Acts 2:38 AMP.
Father God, we pray that countless people will repent and turn from sin and follow after Christ and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin.
Dear Lord, we also pray that they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit or be filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4).
For those that are called out to preach, we pray for a powerful anointing to flow through them to preach the Good News of the Gospel of Christ!
Anointed pastors of today will preach the Gospel of Christ and call forth missions and evangelism!
Praying for open doors for missions or evangelism
- Father God, according to Colossians 4:3-4, we pray that the missionaries or evangelists will have open doors in order to proclaim the mystery of Christ.
“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel…” Ephesians 6:19 NIV
We declare and decree that they will win many souls into God’s kingdom. Your Word says, “… he that winneth souls is wise” Proverbs 11:30.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to draw souls unto Your missionaries or ministers from the North, the South, the East and the West so that they might be effective in the works of the kingdom.
We speak the fire of God to be manifested upon them so that no attack will prevail against them in Jesus name.
We also pray that the fire of God is greatly manifested upon them to bring forth miracles, healings and deliverances.
- The missionaries, believers, ministers and/or chosen ones shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover according to Mark 16:18 in Jesus name.
Through Your anointing, Father God, we pray Isaiah 61:1 upon Your chosen ones … “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound …”
Father God, we thank You for giving Your missionaries the necessary finances to travel abroad or within their own nation at the appointed time. We also thank You for giving them the financial ability or sufficiency to feed and clothe those that are in need.
You said in Philippians 4:19 AMP, “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Therefore, we speak this Word in their behalf so that they will have no lack on the mission field.
We speak great favor to be upon them, because they are traveling in strange lands and in remote places for Your kingdom purpose.
In Proverbs 3:3-4 NIV, it says, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
We declare and decree that the missionaries or ministers shall walk in the favor of the Lord. Every person they meet and every path they cross, God’s favor shall be upon them, increasingly.
Dear Lord Christ as the missionaries go forth on their missions, we declare and decree that they will take authority over diseases, sicknesses, epidemics, pandemics, plagues, pestilences, demonic attacks, witchcraft and/or fears in Jesus name.
Thank You for guarding them against all demonic assignments by the power of Your shed blood!
We declare and decree Luke 10:19 AMPC, “Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
For this reason, we the ministers and/or missionaries of Christ have absolute mastery, authority and power over all demonic entities through Jesus Christ!
We profess that they have divine immunity through their faith in Christ and His authority from wild beasts and from various poisons (Psalm 91, Mark 16:17-18, Acts 28:5).
We declare and decree that no power of the enemy can defeat them and nothing shall in any way harm them in Jesus name!
We make a declaration that each missionary shall fulfill their ministry calling or assignment on the mission field in Jesus name.
We pray that God’s power shall be greatly manifested upon them and every yoke shall be destroyed, because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).
For this reason, Dear Lord, we pray that the yoke destroying — breaking anointing will fall upon them to accomplish all of their missions in Jesus name!
Father God, we pray that world missions will endeavor to aid countries that are distressed. We ask that You prosper them to carry out this mission. We pray that You raise up contributors that have a heart for missions and people that are in need.
We declare and decree that their mission work will not lack financial support in Jesus name!
We also pray in the name of Jesus that each missionary, evangelist and/or minister will map out the territory of their mission before departing from home.
Praying and Mapping out the Territory of your Mission
Through territorial mapping, we pray … over land areas and bind up every territorial force, idolatrous influences, and antichrist spirits, terrorism, demonic attacks and hindrances in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that the purpose of our mission shall be successful in every way, according to God’s plan!
As we depart on our mission, we also pray against and bind up principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places in Jesus name (Ephesians 6:12).
We pray for poverty stricken people and nations that are dying of starvation and we ask You Father God to provide all their needs in Jesus name.
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger].’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me’ Matthew 25:35 AMP.
Dear Lord Christ, we know that this scripture spells out the works of a believer, missionary and/or the church.
We pray dear Lord that You will quicken the church to minister to the needs of those in despair.
We pray that the church will discern that helping the needy is the true mission of Christ and is a reflection of His love and our love for them.
Therefore, we pray that the church will be the first example of feeding the hungry, giving drink to those that are thirsty, giving them shelter, clothing them, visiting the sick and those in prison.
In behalf of the needy, dear Lord we also pray that You intervene by sending forth church members, missionaries and/or ministers of the Gospel to them.
We also pray that You will raise up an army of dedicated missionaries, ministers and/or anointed believers to go forth on the mission field at their appointed time.
Dear Lord Jesus, we pray that Your chosen ones will reflect Your love so that the needy will see You as the God of love!
For this reason, we pray that the reflection of Your love will cause them to accept You as their Lord and Savior. Amen!
