PRAYERS TO HEAL OR DELIVER ONE FROM EYE AILMENTS— SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous … (Psalm 146:8 AMP).
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light” Matthew 6:22.
“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear” Matthew 13:16.
“So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him” Matthew 20:34. We speak this Word upon the blind in Jesus name!
Therefore, Dear Lord, we ask that You heal our eyes both spiritually and physically so that our physical vision is perfectly clear and that we will see clearly in the Spirit.
PRAYING REGARDING YOUR SPIRITUAL VISION:
Lord, spiritually, Your Word says, “For with You is the fountain of life [the fountain of life-giving water]; In Your light we see light” Psalm 36:9 AMP.
Dear Lord God, You are the source and the embodiment of light and all light illumes itself from You so that we are able to see light or to discern what is true.
It is Your desire that the “eyes of our understanding” be enlightened so that we may see spiritually through the “light of Your Word.”
We realize dear Lord that our physical vision could be of ‘no avail’ if it was not for Your light that illumes through us.
BEING DELIVERED FROM SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS IN ORDER TO SEE SPIRITUALLY:
Ephesians 1:18 AMP
“… [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people)...”
LET US PRAY:
Father God, we receive this pray unto ourselves so that You will enable us to see spiritually in Jesus name.
We denounce the works of darkness and bind the prince of darkness that blinds the eyes of unbelievers.
Dear Lord God, Your Word proclaims, “For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God” — 2 Corinthians 4:4 AMP Classic Edition.
Thus, we bind the god of this world from blinding us from discerning the truth in Jesus name.
Father God, we know and realize that without Your Light to enlighten us, we will walk in spiritual darkness.
Therefore, we cast away from us the darkness of all evil and spiritual blindness in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that our mind and heart be illuminated with the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ in Jesus name.
We know that Your Word tells us that “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house” Matthew 5:14-15 AMP.
Lord Christ, You proclaimed to us, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven” Matthew 5:16 AMP Classic Edition.
We submit to walking as Your children of Light. We pray that people will recognize the light of Your presence upon us and that they will glorify You with their whole being.
We declare that we will …“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you” Isaiah 60:1 AMP.
The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others …” Proverbs 15:30 AMP Classic Edition.
Father God, we pray that our eyes will sparkle with happiness so that it will cause the hearts of others to rejoice in Jesus name!
Lord God, we pray that Your Light will reflect in our eyes in Jesus name!
Father God, correspondingly, we ask that our eyes will beam with Your glory, which shows the light of our countenance in Jesus name!
“The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The Lord gives light to the eyes of both” Proverbs 29:13.
Dear Lord, You lightened both of their eyes with the light of life, just as You “…maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust” Matthew 5:45.
According to Proverbs 22:2, “The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.”
You allow their natural eyes to behold the light of the sun, which shines and reflects upon the rich and poor.
Spiritually, You allow the eyes of one’s heart to reflect the light of Your Word and/or the light of Your Spirit.
Therefore, dear Lord, we pray that You will enlighten our spiritual eyes so that we will discern the truth of Your Word.
In addition, we pray that You will heal our natural eyes so that we can look upon the truth of Your Word, live a good quality of life and to effectively carry out our mission upon this earth.
We, therefore, pray that You will bring forth Your light and life to our eyes in Jesus name. “My eyes are continually toward the Lord…” Psalm 25:15. “Unto you I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!” Psalm 123:1 AMP.
Father God, Your Word says, “Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; Give light (life) to my eyes …” Psalm 13:3 AMP.
The Light of Christ shines upon my eyes to enlighten my vision both physically and spiritually. My eyes are open with the Light of Truth! I am a child of God; I trust in His Word so that He will continually shine His Light upon me in Jesus name. Thus, I walk in the Light of His presence!
Dear Lord, You commissioned Paul to go to the Gentiles to pull them from spiritual darkness into Your Light. You stated, “I am sending you to the Gentiles 18 to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me” Acts 26:18 New Living Translation.
Dear Father God we also thank You for opening our eyes and turning us from darkness to light in accordance to Acts 26:18 in Jesus name. AMEN!
